Pond Wildlife Sightings

Recently seen on the Pilot Pond by a Shorewalk resident was an Anhinga, that was eating a large fish. This native water bird may also be called the snakebird or a water turkey. I think any bird that wants to have a diet of snakes is ok by me!                                                                                                                                                      

          The River Otter arrived at the pond shortly after, and was  competition with the Anhinga for finding the most to eat.
